The mounting platform raises the speaker height above the OEM grill line, shortening the path of reflection off the windshield — a critical factor in managing unwanted cancellations and improving integration with the tweeter in a 3 way system.
The mounts feature a magnetic grill system for quick, secure installation and serviceability. Trimming of plastic underneath the OEM grill may be required to accommodate deeper midrange drivers.
